It’s a psychological horror masterpiece. There is no other movie like it. The sea witch or an “apeth” is a fresh take on the played idea of witches in horror.
We Summon the Darkness (2020)
It’s a slasher and it’s set during the Satanic Panic. This movie is good fun even if there are no “traditional” witches. This is a fun spin on witchcraft tropes .
The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016)
This is a paranormal horror movie but it’s so much more. It completely flips the script on how we think about witches. It combines elements from several of the listed categories above.

It’s a monster movie and the monsters are the flesh eating witches. This creative take on witches is definitely worth highlighting.
